Village Life in India
Recently I visited India and had the rare privilege of staying with a Sikh family on a farm in a small village, in the District of Ludhiana, State of Punjab. I kept a photographic record and a daily journal of my experiences of village life, the people, their customs, and the schools. I visited several Sikh temples, including the Temple at Nanak Sar and the Golden Temple at Amritsar. I met a number of dignitaries and ate food with the pilgrims in the langar hall at the Golden Temple.
